When I first started photography around February of this year, I captured anything around me. I try to shoot whenever I travel to places here in the UAE. Traveling being the first and shooting as the second. However, it came to a point when I was running of out subjects, then it occurred to me that I have to take my photography to the next level, I decided to travel for the sole purpose of shooting. And to get some inspiration along the way.
This is the first time I traveled far from Dubai. I went with a friend of mine Jason, since his car is free (company provided) and his petrol is free (again company provided). I’m just practical 🙂
First stop : Jebel Hafeet
wikipedia says: Jebel Hafeet (variously translated Jabal, Jabel and Jebal) is a mountain primarily in the United Arab Emirates on the outskirts of Al Ain. The mountain actually straddles part of the border with Oman. The mountain rises 1240 meters and offers an impressive view over the city. Jebel Hafeet was a well-known landmark throughout the area’s history and is a contemporary tourist attraction. An extensive natural cave system winds through Jebel Hafeet. Jebel Hafeet is also home to a wide range of animals including bats, foxes, snakes, etc.
