I love sunsets, in fact in terms of photography, I like it more than sunrise. Because during the sunset, it gives a great golden color far longer than sunrise and right after sunset, the there comes the blue hour that later on turns to a magenta sky. Sunset gives you 3 colors of the sky in the span of more than an hour. Which gives you plenty of time to shoot and compose your shots. That’s my opinion at least.
Again, taken from the Abandoned Village at Ras Al Khaimah. I intentionally underexposed this shot to give me rich details / textures of the sky.
Gear: Canon 7D + Sigma 10-20mm
Settings: f8.0 | 1/60 | ISO 100
Post processing:
- Enhanced the sky for a more dramatic sunset look
- Dodged and burned some place to get more details
- Applied some selective sharpening
Enjoy your weekend!
