This portrait was taken in a very unlikely place, anyway… those three holes are broken windows which nicely frames the surroundings of the place. This place offers a lot of grungy textures.
This was shot in one of the abandoned villa in Ras Al Khaimah. It was a fun shoot and I would like to thank our model, Alexandra Lyubimaya, who’s very fun to work with. She’s our model, our stylist and make up artist!
Gear: Canon 7D + Sigma 17-50 f2.8 OS HSM
Settings: f3.5| 1/250 | ISO 100
Srobist: 580exii + 60″ umbrella (collapsed) on top camera right @ 1/8 power

Post process:
- Cropped and straightened
- Blended under exposed shot to reveal the view outside the window
- Dodging and burning
- Color balance adjustments
- Curves adjustments
Cheers!
